Dr. Selena Ramkeesoon has been promoted to Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). She teaches the Innovation Through Marketing and Technology course in the MBA program at the UMGC School of Business.
Dr. Ramkeesoon is the President of Ellevate’s Washington, DC Chapter. She is a seasoned business marketing communications strategist and professor specializing in online higher education. Dr. Ramkeesoon is also an Adjunct Professor with the online MBA program at the American University Kogod School of Business, and has served as a guest speaker on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Georgetown University.
She earned her Doctor of Management degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus, holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Library Science from the University of Maryland, College Park, a BA in History and Government from the University of the West Indies, and is PMP-certified.
UMGC's MBA program was the first U.S.-based MBA designed specifically for online delivery and is accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). The MBA program offers students the ability to frame business decisions and solve problems in the context of a global environment.
